It's been quite a long time since I last blogged, considering that I try to blog once every 3-5 days since the end of my A levels.

Things which kept me busy all these days:

My work

As mentioned in the previous post, I have found a job and have been working 5.5days a week, 9 hours a day, since 19 Jan. It was not a pleasant experience there and I decided to quit after less than 1 week there. Initially, I had planned to stay on until end of Feb and get a new one after wk enters ns, but I changed my mind. I don't like my colleagues, and they can be rather unapproachable. As a call centre staff, I have to let unreasonable customers scold me, largely due to the company's inefficiency in repairing the electronics. The customers think that buying this company's stuffs is a good idea and that they are a tad richer than those who buy those Enzer electronics. Thus they think that they have the power to scold the staff. Crazy people... They think that they are rich and we poor staffs have to let them scold. Thus, I had enough of everything and am quitting on 31Jan. I have no regrets at all. AT ALL.
Also, I did not learn much things there as everyone is too busy to teach the new staffs. I have not much knowledge on how the products are supposed to work and I can't be telling everyone who feels that there is something wrong with their product to bring their stuffs to the service centre, and those with large TVs to book an appointment for the technicians to go to their house for on-site service. Thus I feel that it is better to keep my mouth shut. I am not going to deal with customers ever again.
Lastly, the colleagues are not as fantastic as those at Mango and they give me black faces when I ask questions. Yes, I will not learn anything from all of you anymore. I won't ask you all questions again. Though there are some nice people like Winnie =) But most of them are evil. I mean not nice.
Though the location is quite near my place: at tpy, I will not stay! I would rather work in shenton way and wear office wear and not just t-shirt and pants. And I thought that this was office work and I can wear skirts etc. But no! They told me to wear pants and tee shirts. Crazy. And I only have 4 pants. Not enough. Not a fun job. I want to flee asap. Luckily, it's just 3 days more =)

I did some of the work for the slop site, and that kept me busy too =) but it was much more fun than the service centre shit job :p

Actually, that didn't look like a lot of things ya? And I just didn't know where my time went... Oh ya and there were the TV shows I watch: 7pm & 9pm channel 8 =)

As the above title says, I have a job. Again. This time, it is not sales, but neither it is the type I wanted, but then again, I think I shouldn't have any problem handling the tasks =) tho I heard that the work there is NEVERENDING. Gosh, and I promise the person who interviewed me that I won't give up after a few days' work, and I won't succumb to pressure. And I really thought I wouldn't. But that was before I heard that a new temp gal (like me) worked for a day (yesterday) and she didn't cone for work today. And they said she was scared. It was so funny... Haha... What's so scary about working... LOL... I feel great having a job, and the thought of being able to get my pay credited into my bank account every 15days make me feel even better. Soon I will become a millionaire. SOON. Later tonight in my dreams I think ;p

Today I was attatched to a gal who, like me, is born in 1988!!!! Chey, you may think. But I think it is a big deal being attached to a girl your age, one who knows more than me, even though I am older than her by a few months. It was so fun, having someone your age at work with you, and leading you. But seriously, I think I MAY quit after february. The workload is not joking matter, mind you. The phone is always ringing, the people there are always looking at invoices. But given my high level of genius-ness, and my ability to handle a bit of stress, I think everyone should be fighting to hire me. Hehehe...

I really want to go to Thailand. Even with the bombings recently. Thailand feels like a nice place to shop, and I really regretted having not shopped till I drop the last time I went Bangkok. I want to go to Bangkok. But I doubt anyone would be free to accompany me. :( boohoo...

Posting about getting my pay etc definitely wasn't my way of showing-off. If you get jealous over my I-think-is-little pay, I apologize. That really wasn't my aim.

And now that my day is almost over, I must say I feel that birthday really isn't any big event or whatever. It feels like just another day, another day out with people who care about my existence. Even if there is a birthday party, with all the people I have said "hi" to attending, I would have thought nothing of it. Birthday so what? Everyone also have birthday mah.. What really matters is to have people who cares for you, and people who know you well to listen to your stories etc. And I am not sure if my rantings make sense, it's just another paragraph to show that I cannot express myself properly. Anyway, I had a great day today =) thanks people! =) I know you care =)

I am just a bit unhappy. Don't even know why. It's NOT pms. I am sure. It's just that... Dunno lah!

I got my pay today, though it is a little bit less than what I calculated, I am still very happy!!! =) It was a bit less as they paid me till my 28dec's work, instead of until 31dec. And I am so happy!! I saw a cash deposit machine and dropped all my $50 and $10 notes into the machine. Hehe.. It is so convenient with a POSB card. I am sua ku now, I know... But I must always restrain myself from anyhow pressing for money from a 'wall'. I got paid on average $55 per day you know... Those getting $6 or less per hour you should be so jealous of my $6.50 per hour pay right? Hehe.. I only worked for i think 8 or 9 days and I get $500+. Am I good or what? But my work isn't like all of yours: get paid for sitting in front of the computer. And is so little money somemore. Hehe.. At least I have ~~sales~~ work experience now =)

Who wants to hire me next? I am available =) always =) or till I find a job :p

Together with wk, we entered the Rabbit Brand restaurant at Lucky Plaza. We ordered different types of shark's fins and paid only a small sum of money for our lunch. It was cheap and nice. Try it! =) There was only a 5% GST surcharge. No service charge. Woots! =) I want to eat their shark's fins again =) Hehehehe...

And to make up for all the good food I had devoured the past week, I went for a run with wk this morning. (Had sizzler last monday, Dim Sum buffet yesterday, Shark's fins today) It felt great, after being without exercises for so long. Hehe..

I am a happy girl =) =)

The photos shall be up next time, together with a scanned image of a to-be-taken neoprint/card. Our 1st time taking the neoprint together. Wk is a mountain tortoise. He had never taken a neoprint before. Hehehehehe... =)
